Today's my mom's birthday. I made her this cake (courtesy of Alton Brown, who I do not like so much when he complicates things by only giving measurements in ounces, not cups). This cake is in disguise. So unextraordinary on the outside, so good tasting in your mouth. Wow.

Went to see PoTC 3 yesterday. First off: loved the movie. I've been putting off writing about it, because I knew I had tons to say.

+ My first thought on hearing that the much-hyped "pre-planned end-date" for Lost that is supposed to guarantee the audience answers in a reasonable timeframe is set for *2010* (let me repeat that: 2010)?
